Pros and Cons of Acrylic Nail Art – Maintaining pretty and long nails will not be sufficient. It would also require some ornamenting and decorations because in this modern world there is competition for everything and everyone tries to look better than others. So when you talk about decorations for the nail, there is always the nail art which include acrylic nail art, the 3D nail art etc. Out of all the nail arts available we will discuss something on acrylic nail arts. We shall deal with all the aspects of acrylic nail art along with its pros and cons.
The main advantage in an acrylic nail art is that it is durable because of the artificial nail i.e. the acrylic nail which will be pasted or attached on your natural nails by certain adhesive paints. It is durable in the sense that it will not fade away after two or three weeks as in a normal nail art involving painting. Durability here also means that the nails will be responsive to the coatings or the nail polishes i.e. the adherence properties of the polish with that of the nail is highly increased. In addition to being durable, these nails can be used to give more color and elegance to your natural nails.
Another advantage with acrylic nails is that almost any kind of design is possible on them. This is not the case with natural nails which might not support certain lengthy designs. Since the acrylic nail art is custom designed, you can get acrylic nails of different sizes and in sizes of your choice. But there are lots of disadvantages with acrylic nails which have to be mentioned to make the public aware. The acrylic nails are made of chemicals like the Ethyl Methacrylate or the Methyl Methacrylate. These two chemicals are harmful for human beings in the sense that it causes allergies and other complications.
Then acrylic nails are hard to remove. Though people may say that it is easier to remove with certain acrylic nail removers or by contacting a nail specialist salon, it is tough indeed. It consumes lot of time and the use of chemicals will always be harmful indeed. The disadvantages of acrylic nail art are far too many to be mentioned. But these disadvantages cannot outshine the finesse and decorations provided by this type of nails. It is up to the people to decide whether to use acrylic nails or whether not to use them.
